An opportunity has arisen for a Spanning Crew Team Leader to be hands on overseeing 3-6 staff with the assembly of Reinke Pivot Irrigators. Previous supervising experience in the irrigation field is ideal but applicants with sound knowledge and proven experience in irrigation should still apply. HT Class 4 is preferred but training will be provided for the right person.

This role is a permanent position involving the assembly of centre pivot and lateral irrigators throughout the South Island and offers future career development with suppliers in USA. On occasion there will be the requirement to stay away from home but all accommodation, meals and drinks are paid for along with the supply of a vehicle. The days are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm and the occasional Saturday during seasonal peaks.

Pump Installer / General Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for someone with general Engineering ability to oversee the installation and removal of irrigation pumps and to repair a variety of pumps including submersible, domestic, “end suction” and stock water pumps. You will need to have good welding ability with ARC and MIG and excellent attention to detail. HT Class 4 is preferred but training will be provided for the right person.

This role is a permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7.30am-5.00pm and some rostered on-call weekends with hours varying during seasonal peaks. The successful applicant will need to have an engineer’s mind set, be mechanically minded and understand irrigation and pump systems.
