Class 2/Forklift Driver

We are looking for someone who is physically fit, reliable and keen to work. You will hold a Class 2 and Forklift licence with an OSH endorsement and have relevant experience.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm, however flexibility may be required during peaks and troughs.

You will be responsible for transporting building materials and supplies with a Class 2 truck from the yard, to site and back. Along with this you will be operating a forklift to unload/load the truck. As a part of your duties you will also ensure that the yard and working area is kept in a tidy condition.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds the above licences,
  • Is experienced with operating machinery,
  • Is able to complete a Ministry of Justice check,
  • Is physically fit,
  • Can pass a pre employment drug test.

Forklift Operator

Our client is a well-known and reputable company that pride themselves on providing a healthy work/life balance for their employees. They have a strong commitment to the Health & Safety of their staff as well as being known as a great place to work. They have a small but highly productive team.

We are on the lookout for a skilled forklift operator, ideally you will have prior warehousing experience and be able to stack frames confidently four high with precision. Previous freezer work would be an advantage. You will be processing inwards good, staging, picking orders amongst other duties as required.

As well as a skilled operator, you will need to be accurate with paperwork with a high attention to detail.
