LIGHT LABOUR, HEAVY LABOUR – WE HAVE JOBS FOR YOU

We have a range of clients seeking reliable, physically fit labourers, whether it is heavy or light labour – no matter who you are, we have a job for you. It may be that you are looking for pocket money a few days a week or a month, or you might want a longer term role – we have them all. Remember that a good temporary employee can often become permanent!

The work will be in a range of industries such as:

  • Factory Labouring
  • General Labouring
  • Port Labouring
  • Osh and F Endorsed

In order to succeed in many of our assignments, you will have strong communication skills, and you will be physically fit. For our heavy labour roles you will be able to consistently complete manual handling and heavy lifting duties. The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is very important.

Successful applicants will need to:

  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Have a commitment to Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Be physically fit and able to do heavy, manual labouring consistently
  • Have a high level of reliability and absolute commitment to the role that we provide you with

Whilst most of these roles are based in South Canterbury, it would be beneficial to have your own transport, and a current, clean licence.

Do you have a clean driving record and a full class 1 driver’s licence? Are you customer focused with a bright personality? Are you physically fit with good verbal and written communication?

Our client is looking for a Part Time Delivery Driver to pick-up and deliver laundered client orders to a variety of businesses around Mid Canterbury. This will be a physical role which will involve lifting up to 25 kg so you must be physically fit and reliable.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have good time management skills to ensure client orders are returned on time. You will be the face of the company so it is imperative that you are well presented and have a friendly and professional approach.

To be a good fit for this role you will need to have the following attributes:
• Physically fit
• Able to follow instructions / procedures
• Adaptable and flexible
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal and written communication
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Friendly, helpful, and respectful
• Full Class 1 drivers licence with a clean driving record

The successful applicant will work varied hours, Monday 8.00am-1.00pm, Tuesday 7.00am-3.30pm, Wednesday 7.00am-2.00pm, Thursday 7.00am-1.00pm with Friday’s not rostered unless required to work as cover. There may be opportunity for hours to increase for the right person.
