Class 2 Delivery Driver Plus

Do you want to work for an award winning, progressive, aluminium Joinery Company who believes in growing people. They are looking for an additional full time, permanent team member, to ensure the safe delivery of their products to building sites within the South Island.

Flexibility and a problem solving/number eight wire mentality is essential for this role as there will be the occasional time that an overnight stay is required to ensure log book hours are adhered to.

If you are a Class 2 Truck Driver who is injury free and healthy we want you; (you must be able to help with onsite deliveries of goods with a shared lift weight of up to 75kg).

Class 5 Drivers – Harvest Season

Do you have truck driving experience in the agricultural industry? Are you competent driving a truck and trailer?

We are currently seeking skilled class 5 truck drivers for the up-coming harvest season to cart a range of bulk products such as silage, grain and fertiliser throughout Mid Canterbury.

You must have:
• A Class 5 license with a clean driving record
• Experience driving a truck and trailer unit and backing
• Physically fit, honest and reliable
• Flexible working hours
• Compliant with all health and safety policies and procedures

You will need to be flexible with hours, there will be times when you will need to work longer when the weather is right and you must be able to work well as a part of a team. The roles are to cover the harvest season from October through until March but could be longer for the right person.

Delivery Driver – (Part time)

Do you have a clean driving record and a full class 1 driver’s licence? Are you customer focused with a bright personality? Are you physically fit with good verbal and written communication?

Our client is looking for a Part Time Delivery Driver to pick-up and deliver laundered client orders to a variety of businesses around Mid Canterbury. This will be a physical role which will involve lifting up to 25 kg so you must be physically fit and reliable.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have good time management skills to ensure client orders are returned on time. You will be the face of the company so it is imperative that you are well presented and have a friendly and professional approach.

To be a good fit for this role you will need to have the following attributes:
• Physically fit
• Able to follow instructions / procedures
• Adaptable and flexible
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal and written communication
• Able to work independently and in a team

• Full Class 1 drivers licence with a clean driving record

The successful applicant will work varied hours, Monday 8.00am-1.00pm, Tuesday 7.00am-3.30pm, Wednesday 7.00am-2.00pm, Thursday 7.00am-1.00pm with Friday’s not rostered unless required to work as cover. There may be opportunity for hours to increase for the right person.
