• Making deliveries
• Some Labouring
• Dealing with Customers

This is a temp to perm role for a fit, conscientious person who would like to earn extra cash and enjoy the rest of the day! This role could suit a Mum or Dad wanting to work at night, or alternatively a person close to retirement who would like to keep their hand in the workforce.

You must have a good work ethic, have a good level of fitness and be happy to work unsupervised.

Class 5 Driver

We have a unique opportunity for a Class 5 driver with a passion for agriculture, who is looking for some variety in their truck driving role.

This established family farm is a busy environment where they try to be relatively self-sufficient, they fatten several thousand store lambs, sow and harvest their own crops with modern equipment and make their own baleage. During troughs in the workload there will be some general farm labour involved to fit in with the truck driving.

Requirements for this role:
• Class 5 License
• Farming experience
• The ability to be flexible with seasonal peaks and troughs

Initially this position is from January through to April, however for the right candidate this position could be a permanent full time role.

Class 5 Drivers – Harvest Season

Do you have truck driving experience in the agricultural industry? Are you competent driving a truck and trailer?

We are currently seeking skilled class 5 truck drivers for the up-coming harvest season to cart a range of bulk products such as silage, grain and fertiliser throughout Mid Canterbury.

You must have:

  • A Class 5 license with a clean driving record
  • Experience driving a truck and trailer unit
  • Physically fit, honest and reliable
  • Flexible working hours
  • Compliant with all health and safety policies and procedures

These roles are for clients who require you to work long hours at times when the weather is right, and need you to work in well as a part of a team. The roles are to cover the harvest season from October through until March but could be longer for the right person.

Tractor Operators

We are currently seeking experienced Tractor Drivers to help our Client’s in the upcoming de-stoning/planting season. (Starting from August)

You will be working with modern machinery, in very busy environments and with a great team. 

You will need to have:

  • Experience in cropping or agricultural contracting
  • A full driver’s license
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • A reliable and flexible working attitude
  • Fluent English
