Machine Operator / Bagger Stacker

We are on the lookout for an injury free, responsible person to join a great team in a local seed processing plant. Your duties will include; tipping bulk bins of seed into the hopper with a forklift (if certified), calibrating the chemical mix, monitoring the machine while in operation, and bagging off the finished product – so there is some heavy lifting involved in this role.

The ideal candidate will bring the following experience and attributes:

  • Ability to think on your feet and use your initiative.
  • Be physically fit and be able to handle manual lifting duties.
  • Good communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team environment but also individually and unsupervised.
  • Having a drivers license and your own reliable transport is essential.
  • If you are a competent computer user it may place your application at an advantage

A full time contract opportunity has arisen in Timaru for an Abrasive Blaster/Painter to join a small dedicated team working in a highly specialised area of the industry.

We have an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to make the move from a ‘job’ to a ‘career’! The role is a longer term temporary role, however if after time you are demonstrating a good work ethic, you may be offered a permanent position.

Our client is looking for someone to join their team of Abrasive Blasters/Painters. The successful candidate will be working across a number of industries, including sand blasting, spray painting and rust proofing fishing boats. You will be working away from home at times (up to two weeks away) at the Hydro Stations. This is a physical role and you will need to be free from any neck/back injuries.

Labourer/Forklift Operator required for Cool Store

Our client is now winding into the busy season and needing staff to help in the warehouse. They have multiple warehouse sites and you will be working between them all. This is a physical role that will include hand stacking containers for export product amongst other general warehouse tasks. You could be a school leaver or just looking to make a change from your current job to join a great team.

Hours of work are 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday. Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

They pride themselves on having an amazing team culture and as such it is vital that the people who join their team bring the same enthusiasm and above all must have a good attitude and willing to pitch in where needed.

You will need to have a clean driver’s licence and be free from criminal convictions.
