Administration Coordinator

We are looking for an administration coordinator to work in our Timaru branch. The position is full time, working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5.30pm. It would suit someone who has a positive and proactive approach, and who enjoys taking responsibility for achieving great results within a varied and busy role.

To be successful in this role you need to be reliable, conscientious, and a willingness to be flexible in order to support other administration duties.

The position requires applicants to have:

  • Microsoft Office skills, including skills in using Excel
  • Excellent spoken English
  • A mature and professional attitude
  • Excellent time management
  • A current clean driver’s license

Duties include:

  • Customer service
  • Data entry and record keeping
  • Maintaining administration processes and systems
  • Providing administrative support in other area’s of the business
  • Scheduling advance bookings
  • Reception duties

This position will initially begin as a temporary role with the intention for it to become permanent if mutually agreed.

You will need to undergo a pre-employment drug test, complete a Ministry of Justice check and provide 2 x recent references.

Class 5 Driver

Our client is experiencing a growth period and now needs an additional Class 5 driver to join the crew.

They run a fleet of vehicles for the services below:

  • Hydrovac
  • Water blasting
  • Septic tank and farm services
  • CCTV

The hours will vary but a usual week will be in excess of 50+, you will need to be physically fit and willing to work extra hours and rostered weekends as required.

The successful candidate will

Qualified Engineer

Our client is experiencing a growth period and are now on the lookout for an Engineer that thrives on a challenge and is always willing to step up and do what it takes to get the job done. Alternatively you might be a builder, mechanic, electrician, or similar trade looking to make a career change.

You will have a proven background in your trade of choice, however preference will be given to someone with exceptional welding skills and general engineering background. Our client covers all engineering needs, from custom and one-off pieces to prototypes, and light, or heavy fabrication jobs, with a diverse customer base from transport and primary industries to manufacturing and food processing,

Hours of work will be 7.00am – 4.30pm, overtime will apply after this, there may be weekend work at times as required.

A full time contract opportunity has arisen in Timaru for an Abrasive Blaster/Painter to join a small dedicated team working in a highly specialised area of the industry.

Class 5 Driver/Store person

Our client is looking for a Class 5 driver to join their team. They run their own fleet to service the logistics of the their Third Party Warehouses around Timaru. There will be a lot of variety within the role, some days may see you back and forth to Christchurch or doing local pickups to return freight back to the warehouse. Other days you may be on the Forklift or helping out in the store where required.

Labourer/Forklift Operator required for Cool Store

Our client is now winding into the busy season and needing staff to help in the warehouse. They have multiple warehouse sites and you will be working between them all. This is a physical role that will include hand stacking containers for export product amongst other general warehouse tasks. You could be a school leaver or just looking to make a change from your current job to join a great team.

Hours of work are 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday. Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
