Our clients main focus is on the supply of goods via shipping movements.

They are seeking a “value plus” Warehouse-person/Inventory Controller with honesty and empathy to add to their high performing team. You might be a candidate with a clue or two and lots of life experience, or you might well be a person with experience in warehousing/logistics.

The successful applicant will be an active player within the warehouse, supporting the Operations Manager and providing agile and responsive service, both internally and externally. A background in logistics will be an advantage, as you will be involved in product movement and storage organisation, and you may also be expected to participate in supervising staff from time to time.

Irrigation Service Technician – TIMARU base.

Do you enjoy working in the agricultural sector and being outdoors? Are you mechanically minded and enjoy fixing things? Do you have experience as a Service Technician in the Irrigation Sector?

We are currently seeking Service Technicians for an Irrigation client with branches based in Ashburton and Timaru. Having been in the game of providing cost effective irrigation solutions for over a decade, they are a progressive company and a market leader in their industry.

This role is a permanent position for the right applicant and has plenty of room for growth within the company. You will be required to service pivot irrigators in the South Canterbury region which will include maintenance, repairs, servicing and fault finding. Ideally, the successful applicant will have previous experience as a Service Technician in the Irrigation sector, but those who are mechanically minded, have some electrical knowledge and have a maintenance background should still apply.

You will be required to have:
• A proven service/maintenance, mechanical or engineering background
• Be able to work autonomously
• MIG and Stick welding skills
• Diagnostic and problem solving ability
• Pump knowledge or understanding
• High level of communication
• A full driver’s license

The hours are generally 7.30am start and can be 10 hour days during the peak season which is normally October through until February. During the main irrigation season there will also be rostered weekend work every third weekend and time and a half after 50 hours.

Start will be post COVID-19 Lockdown
