WANT TO GET STARTED IN A STORES ROLE ……..

We are seeking invested, energetic individuals with at least basic maths ability to work in permanent, contract and temp roles within stores in a variety of industries. We have found more often than not, that candidates who show reliability, flexibility and workplace ethics, often find themselves being retained in a permanent positions, and we have a few positions who are likely to result in permanent roles.

You should display the following attributes:

  • A team player who is proud of their work
  • Attention to detail and good mathematical ability
  • Previous Warehousing or Inward/Outward goods experience preferable, but not necessary.
  • Pride in the quality of your work
  • Physical fitness
  • You will be well presented, clean and tidy
  • F/OSH is an advantage however willing to train the right person

Stores Manager

Do you have previous experience in Warehouse Management? Have you worked in the agricultural sector and are familiar with Irrigation?

We are looking for a professional and customer service-orientated Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy new store based in Ashburton. As the Store Manager you will supervise the operational and organisational standards of the store and will be expected to lead, coach, and develop a small team of four. 

The purpose of the role is to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly and customers’ expectations (external and internal) are met within specific deadlines – especially during seasonal peaks.

The ideal candidate must be able to improve customer satisfaction and have comprehensive management of the store and all its day-to-day functions. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday and ½ day Saturdays as required during seasonal peaks.

Store Person

An opportunity has arisen to join the team at a leading provider of irrigation solutions servicing Mid Canterbury clients. If you thrive in a role that has a demand for accuracy alongside efficient and effective time management, we currently have a full-time, permanent vacancy for your next challenge.


The purpose of the role is to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly and customers’ expectations (external and internal) are met within specific deadlines – especially during seasonal peaks. This would suit someone who is familiar with agricultural machinery and parts, has knowledge of fittings and irrigation systems and is good at finding solutions and fixing problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Receiving incoming goods
  • Receipting outgoing goods
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Packing and dispatching phone/fax/email orders
  • Packing/sorting project or service job parts
  • Entering/allocating parts into computer system
  • Ensuring store is kept clean and presentable
  • HT Licence, F Endorsement and OSH forklift preferable

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday including rostered Saturdays during peak season. Hours during summer are 7am-5pm with overtime as required and winter hours are 8am-5pm dependant on customer demands.

To be successful, you will need previous experience with stores or warehouse work, be competent with computer systems, physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting, show initiative, be accurate and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
