LABOURER WORKING WITH RURAL WATER CREW

Starting on the business end of a shovel, you will put the hard yards in knowing that this is the start of a career.

Our Client is a well respected Timaru business, who is seeking a candidate who will initially be a labourer, getting out and about in the countryside with a team specialising in rural water. If you prove your worth to our client, there is a possibility of gaining qualification in rural water as your experience grows.

Initially the role is a longer term temp role however for the right person, this role could easily turn permanent.

You will possess the following qualities:

  • You will be fit and reliable, not minding picking up a shovel for reasonable periods of your working day.
  • Reliable transport to get to and from work, and a clean C1 licence as a minimum, even better if you have C2!
  • A willing and flexible work ethic.
  • You will enjoy working outdoors.
  • Happy to work as part of a diverse team

Hours will generally be Monday – Friday 7.30 am – 5 pm, however you should be prepared to be flexible as sometimes work will need to be undertaken early mornings and nights dependent on different situations that arise – don’t worry – this doesn’t happen a lot but it does occasionally occur.

This is a “Step in the Door” for a fit and willing person who can envisage a longer term career, however is not afraid to start at the bottom of the ladder. We see the successful person as a fit, outdoors person who isn’t afraid of weather!

You will need to have a current, legal right to work in NZ. This role is not suitable for anyone that does not fit this criteria.
