Drive-In Calf Rearing Position

Our client is looking for a calf rearer / farm assistant to join their tight knit team over the calving period with the potential to carry through into the bulk of the season. This farm rears 300 replacements each year and has 1250 cows.

What this position will offer you:
• 40 hours per week
• A great team environment
• 6-1 roster over the calving period

To be successful for this position you must:
• Have had 1+ years’ experience calf rearing.
• Have general animal health knowledge
• Have an excellent work ethic and attitude to learn
• Ability to operate 4 wheel and two-wheel motorbikes
• Previous tractor driving experience is not essential but may place your application at an advantage.

This is a drive-in position located 10 minutes east of Ashburton, meaning a restricted or full drivers licence is required for this role.
