Our Ashburton based client has a great opportunity for a competent welder/engineer, who can hit the ground running. This full-time role involves building new irrigation systems in a variety of locations out in the field, along with some workshop requirements. You will be provided with a supportive team environment where your great initiative and strong problem-solving skills will be well utilised. If you thrive on taking ownership in your work and have the ability to work unsupervised and independently then this could be the opportunity for you.
To be successful in this position you will need:
• Engineering and MIG and TIG welding skills
• Irrigation knowledge
• Familiar with Cast and Steel fitting
• Ability to read plans and follow exact instructions
• Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
