Are you experienced in CAD and SketchUp software? Do you have excellent attention to detail and accurate with numbers? Do you enjoy building relationships and are good on the computer? 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced estimator to join the team of a well-established local Window Door Fabricator in Ashburton. This role is varied and challenging and would suit someone who has an understanding of glass (or similar systems) within building code rules along with a sound knowledge of computers. You will be required to provide specific quotes for residential and commercial projects, whilst ensuring specifications are accurate before products are ordered. Previous experience with CAD and SketchUp would be preferred.

Duties include:
• Pricing, ordering and invoicing
• Checking specifications and designs
• Liaising with builders and architects

This position would suit someone who likes to take ownership of a role, is able to build effective relationships, provide excellent customer service and is good with numbers and attention to detail. In return, you will be offered a safe and friendly working environment with the ability to grow and take on more responsibility. On-going training will be provided along with flexibility in terms of days and hours.

Are you experienced with inward / outward stock control? Do you have good accuracy and attention to detail? Have you had experience leading a small team and providing excellent customer service?

Due to a promotion, an opportunity has arisen for a Storeman and Parts person to manage the inward and outward stock movements for a local irrigation company in Ashburton. If you thrive in a role that has a demand for accuracy alongside effective time management and excellent customer service, then this could be the perfect role for you!

This position is a full-time, permanent vacancy involving inventory control, overseas shipments, processing orders, stocktaking, customer service and the supervision of two staff members. It would be beneficial to have F endorsement, OSH forklift and MPI approved but these can be obtained if successful in the role. You will also need competent computer skills and be familiar with Accredo accounting software. 

The purpose of this role is to ensure the parts department operates smoothly and customers’ expectations are met within specific deadlines. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining stock levels 

• Supervision of two staff

• Receipting all incoming/outgoing stock 
• Dealing with customer enquiries 
• Packing and dispatching client orders 
• Manage stocktakes as required
• Accurate documentation of records for inwards/outwards inventory
• Ensuring store is kept clean and presentable 
• Adhere to all company Health and Safety polices

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm including rostered Saturdays 8am-12noon during seasonal periods.
