Forklift Operators

There is a current demand for Forklift Operators in Timaru. We welcome applications from individuals who offer strong forklift experience and who are OSH and/or Forklift Endorsed. A Full license and reliable transport is also required as we need to be assured you will turn up to work every day and on time! In order to succeed in many of our assignments, you will have strong communication skills, and you will be physically fit and able to complete manual handling and heavy lifting duties. The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is very important.

Shift or part time worker looking for extra hours?

Forklift/ Labouring positions

We are currently seeking experienced staff for various forklift and labouring positions. OSH endorsement required and F and drivers licence desirable. You will need to have the following attributes:

  • Physically fit and happy with a variety of forklift operation, and labouring including heavy lifting.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Hard working, with great attention to detail and happy with long hours. Flexible with day or night shift work.
  • Punctual, reliable and works well under pressure.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures in the workplace

.
There is labouring required with these roles so it’s essential that you are not afraid of hard work. You will need to be drug free as you may be required to undergo a pre-employment or random drug test throughout your employment .These roles are on a temporary basis but this can lead to permanent work for the right candidate.
